We’re aware that there are many low-quality CV writing services in operation. We have worked with multiple clients who have tried these services, only to end up wasting time and money.

Because we frequently get calls from clients who – having been let down by others in the industry – are sceptical to try again, we wanted to summarise what you should look for in a quality service.

There are many benefits to working with a CV writer.

However, CV writing is just like any other industry: you’ll inevitably come across some bad apples.

1) How much do CV writers charge?

Pricing for CV writing can vary quite dramatically. You’ll find services that charge anywhere from £100 (or less) to over £1,000.

CV writing can be a sizable investment, but you generally get what you pay for.

We know that one large firm that charges in the £100 range for a CV, for example, outsources work abroad to non-native English speakers. We have received multiple job applications from their writers that we turned down.

The work put into your project is equivalent to at least a full working day, consisting of:
